Hammering and String Art

I wanted to practice hammering and it turned into a project.

Papa made a square using my t-square and made lots of little dots evenly along the sides. Then I hammered 56 nails. It was hard because the nails were so close together and the wood was hard.





When I was done, Papa asked me to get some floss (not dental floss, more like thin twine). He tied the floss to a corner nail and showed me how to loop the floss around the nails.






It was too bad there wasn't enough floss to finish. I think it still looked nice and it was great hammering practice.

I also like to pick at the nails. They make a musical sound. Mama wants me to make her one to use as a loom.
